Terms of Service

Last updated October 25, 2026

These terms cover your use of PLAEON while it is in private beta. Please read them before using the service.

1. Acceptance of these terms

These terms are an agreement between you and Planting Logic Technologies LLC ("PLAEON", "we", "us") covering your use of the PLAEON website and app. By using PLAEON, you agree to these terms.

2. The beta service

PLAEON is in private beta. The service is provided as-is and as-available, may change or break, and we do not guarantee uptime or that any feature will remain available. We may add, change, or remove features as we develop the product.

3. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity under your account. Give us accurate information, and let us know promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

4. Your content

You keep ownership of the project data you create in PLAEON, such as your site boundaries, zones, and plans. You grant us the limited license needed to host, process, and display that data in order to provide the service to you.

You are responsible for the content you create and for having the rights to any material you bring into the tool, such as a survey or site image you upload.

5. Acceptable use

Do not misuse the service. That includes attempting to break or overload it, scraping or copying the plant library in bulk, reverse engineering the software, or using PLAEON to do anything unlawful.

6. Intellectual property

PLAEON, including the software, the brand, and the plant library data, symbols, and renders, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by law. These terms do not give you any right to our intellectual property beyond using the service as intended.

7. Fees

PLAEON is free to use during the private beta. We may introduce paid plans in the future. If we do, we will give you notice before any charge applies to you.

8. Plant information and design output

PLAEON helps you design planting, but the plant data and generated plans are for guidance. Site conditions vary, so you are responsible for verifying that species, spacing, and layouts are suitable for your specific project before building from them.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, PLAEON is provided without warranties of any kind, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data or profits arising from your use of the service.

10. Termination

You may stop using PLAEON at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these terms or if we discontinue the beta. On termination, the sections that by their nature should survive will continue to apply.

11. Changes to the service and these terms

We may update the service and these terms as PLAEON develops. When we change these terms, we will update the date at the top of this page, and continued use means you accept the updated terms.

12. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Questions about these terms can go to hello@plaeon.com.

PLAEON is in private beta, so this document may change as the product develops. We'll update the date above when it does.
